Macro to fill present date in selected cells
Hi,
Could anyone please provide me the macro for filling date in selected cells in the excel.
Example - I selected some specific cells in the sheet, then ran a macro. I want today's date to come in those cells.
I am just a beginner in the macros. Would appreciate someone's help.
if you select a few cells
and typed
in the formula menu and pressed ctrl and enter.

If you wanted to fix that date you would need to copy, paste special values.

Could you please also suggest me, if i setup macro with button in one sheet(Example. Sheet 1) and want to fill date on selected cells in another worksheet(Ex. Sheet 2) in a workbook. what do i need to edit in this?
I tried it but it didnt worked out. I have attached the file, you will find button on sheet 1 only.
