compare 2 columns if same lookup 3rd column and enter that data

i am a bit confused as to which way and how to this the best,i have a userform and textboxes and listbox,these add,update,delete and clear,all works perfectly well,i would like to know the best way to get around my problem,enter a new record using last name,search button is for updating ect,enter say d308,fill in textboxes with anything,the last one add hyperlink you can put anything in as macro1 turns this into a hyperlink,click add button,all writes to sheet,column( i )gets same number as column (a) if you enter text in add hyperlink,what i like to do is if there is not a hyperlink address in column(h),to look up column (a)look at its number and if theres a hyperlink in(h)to add this to all entries of same number,i put the number in (i) to compare if (a) matches (i ) then lookup(h)and add these
to all matching rows,have spent all day looking and trying different codes, but totally stumped ,i would need the code for add button, and update, as hyperlinks s could be entered anytime,im open to suggestions if any has some please
