Open multiple links with macro and copy specific information and paste it in excel

I have a question about the macros in excel, I receive a list of weblinks from the carrier which contains the tracking information and I have to open every link on IE and I have the macro for opening the links, but then after opening every link then I have to copy the tracking information back to the excel from each tab and close that tab, and my question is there any way to create a macro that will copy just the information and paste it to excel and then close the tab automatically after the information has been pasted back to excel? Any ideas? Any help is appreciated too...many thanks
