Hi all,

I am using Mail Merge to create reports in Microsoft Word from data in Excel. Each row in Excel represents one report in Word. The only thing that cannot be automated is the creation of graphs in Word from data in Excel.

From reading other help forums, the solution is to:

1. In Excel, generate one graph per row
2. Save each graph as a bitmap with a name that is machine-readable as belonging to that row
3. In Word, automate the insertion of a bitmap into each report based on the Excel row that the image is derived from

However, the other forums don't explain how to do this. I don't even know where to start - so feel free to point me to a tutorial or some related material rather than writing out instructions yourself!
