    Compare Columns

Be kind this is my first post
I have attached an example sheet.

    - Column G represents the ShipDate* for an order
    - Column I represents the OrderNumber
    - The Sheet is Sorted by ShipDate

Macro Objective: IF ShipDate Range is a duplicate AND OrderNumber is a duplicate within the ShipDate Range THEN

....CUT THE ENTIRE SET OF ROWS TO A NEW SHEET

*want to evaluate a ShipDate Range = 2 sequential days

    Thanks So Much in Advance!

    Re: Compare Columns

    thanks for the quick response...
ok, if you look at the 2nd of 3 examples on the "Compare" tab.
the 9/18 and 9/19 orders were combined together as one.

    Re: Compare Columns

The 9/18 and 9/19 orders were combined together as one.

Why is that relevent? Both those ranges were copied across anyway.

now if one were a single entry dated 18/9 and the second were a single entry dated dated 19/9
then that would not be picked up.

Are you asking for a reference with two day variation to be spotted and copied across?

    I have modified that order

It is repeated 5 times with 5 dates 15/9 to 19/9

These would not be copied across.

    How would you handle that?

    Re: Compare Columns

this is looking good! definitely on the right track!

    -------------------------
The 9/18 and 9/19 orders were combined together as one. Why is that relevent?
THESE ARE ORDERS THAT IN MY INDUSTRY WOULD GO ON THE SAME TRUCK TO CONSOLIDATE AN ORDER. THAT IS MY OVERALL GOAL, "FIND THE ORDERS THEN CONSOLIDATE"

    -------------------------
now if one were a single entry dated 9/18 and the second were a single entry dated 9/19
YES THIS WOULD BE FLAGGED WITH A 1 IN YOUR COLUMN "L" ONLY IF THE ORDERNUMBERS WERE THE SAME

    -------------------------
**** with regard to the second part I think I can resolve it since you created an 0/1 indicator column ****

    Re: Compare Columns

Thank You so much for your help. I will mark it as solved.
I thought I had the second squared away; but I will post it as it's own question. Thanks again!
