Search column with blanks

I need to search a column that has 7000 rows. see below...

Column C
-----------
B010
need this filled down with B010


B767
need this filled down with B767

C756


need the rest filled down with C756


So if it is a blank cell. I want it to take the previous cell that has data to fill..

Hope this makes sense, any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

By doing the "Go To Special" and selecting blanks, it does not actually select all the blanks. So I am guessing not all the cells are truly blanks. I am not sure how to easily fix that without deleting the value in the cells that i need values in as well...

Got an error saying no cells were selected... when trying to use the VBA code

Is there a formula in the cell? Conditional Formatting? I hope you understand how much this complicates things. Submit your workbook.
