How can I create a button to select and search multiple sheets?

    Hi and thanks in advance.

I created a button that drops down a list of most of my sheets in the workbook but the list is truncated and only shows 14 of my sheets in the list. I then have to select more sheets to pull up a small scroll window to find the one i need to jump to. How can i create a full scrolling list of sheets and or make the list searchable? I dont know if this would be better done using a drop down menu or a clickable button. Im not advanced in excel so any step by step help is appreciated.

    Hello mikey42979,

It is difficult to provide an exact answer since you haven't provided many details about your code or controls.

Posting your workbook will reduce the need for questions and allow solutions to be fully tested using your actual workbook data.

If your workbook contains any sensitive information, please redact that information before you post.

    How To Post Your Workbook
    1. At the bottom right of the Reply window, Click the button Go Advanced
    2. At the top of the Your Message Window, in the first row of icons, Click the Paperclip icon.
    3. Click the Add Files button at the top right in the dialog box. This displays the File Manager dialog.
    4. Click the Select Files button at the bottom middle of the dialog.
    5. In the new window Find the file you want to upload, select it, and Click Open.
    6. You will now be back in the File Manager dialog. Click the bottom Middle button Upload File.
    7. Wait until the file has completely uploaded before you exit the File Manager dialog.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Sample.xlsm

Thanks, i uploaded a sample file for reference. on the first tab is a button i created that allows you to switch between sheets, its big blue and labeled select different worksheet. I either need this button to show all sheets in 1 view or have a search box function in addition to the list. Or any other solution that would make it faster or more convenient to select the sheet you need to see. I will replicate this button or object on every sheet in the workbook. It would also be nice if it auto updated with new tabs as they are created.

    Hello mikey42979,

Since you are using an ActiveX CommandButton to initiate the CommandBar popup, you can easily create your own dialog using a UserForm to list the available worksheets.

This will not only get around the limited presentation but also give you move flexibility in coding additional features and presentation.

Do feel you can design this yourself or do you want help?
