Changing Locked property of cells in Protected sheet with option UserInterfaceOnly=True

When protected with the UserInterfaceOption = True, I can clearly make some types of changes to even 'Locked' cells using vba.

But I don't seem to be able to use vba to change the 'Locked' property of 'locked' cells without actively Unprotecting the worksheet. Is that right?

Thanks for your help in clarifying this for me. :-)

You should be able to change the Locked property. Although UIO is not 100% reliable in my experience, it should work for that.
