Copy a macro/function to multiple workbooks

Hello,

I have a custom function that I would like to copy across multiple workbooks in one location. I know how to replace for example data across multiple workbooks in a specific cell, but I am a little uncertain as to whether I can copy a function/macro into multiple workbooks in a specific location.

Any suggestions?

It may be best to put the UDF into an AddIn, so that you can easily refer to it in multiple workbooks.
