Change cell value when validation list is changed

Hi, i have a data validation list in a cell (A1) and when the value in the list is changed, i want the cell next to it to be updated.
e.g. If A1 = "SPN", B1 should say "Yes".
When ever i try to do this, i get a 1004 error.

When it tries to change the value of B1, i get the 1004 error.

What am i doing wrong?

Hi Typicalalex1,

I have done little modification to your code. As you are using worksheet change, your code posted in post#1 is getting called recursively and hence error. Check the below code.
