Replace asterisk with slash

Hello
I have a sheet with a lot of data including * in a lot of cells . The asterisk is as a character
I want to replace * with / a slash
I couldn't replace it with excel replace feature

The escape character in Excel is the ~. So, to find and replace all asterisks, search for ~*

I used this structure ~* and replace with /
But my problem is that there are a lot of data with that form 1*1 2*1 5*1 6*2
After replacing the data turned into dates !!!

Worked but it will be exhausting as the data all over the sheet in different ranges

Though the cells with data are in text format, add ' before the texts like '1*1 and try replacing
