Export to Fixed Length, greater than 240 characters

I need to develop a macro to export a spreadsheet to fixed length. Problem lies that the total is going to go out to position 380, and I am limited in excel to 240. Any ideas how to get around this programmatically?

Jeffi - appreciate your help. Think I did however find the solution here:

I know the field length of each of the fields, so I just need to run a loop for each record to pad the cell contents. That should work.
