Question Quick Question / Is Excel 2013 VBA backward compatible?

So with the help of some awesome excel VBA jedi knights on this forum, I have managed almost finish my excel vba project. There are a few minor details and tweaks that I am still working on. But now that I am all excited to be so close to finishing and distributing my handy dandy workbook that works spectacularly well in Excel 2013, I am wondering how it will work in Excel 2010? I am not worried about older editions than 2010. If our organization's IT has not updated a user to 2010, it is about time they did get the update. But I am leery about forcing users to have IT upgrade to 2013. So can someone answer the question:

Will my code be backward compatible to Excel 2010?

    Cheers,
    Kaytie

I think most of VBA is the same, jumping from 2003 to 2013 however is not so easy! (as Im finding out with our systems). The fact there isnt a 2010 save as option would make me think the changes are negligable.

One thing I have noticed on the 2003 to 2013 jump is that there are some References in 2013 that dont exist in 2003 including one that seems to run most of the main functions and bizarrely relates to "Word14".

Well... I don't think anyone is using Excel 2003 here. LOL

Whilst the VBA maybe the same between 2010 and 2013 the object model may not be.
It really depends on what your handy dandy workbook does and what features it uses. For example the Flash Fill is new to xl2013

Best bet would be to test on pc with 2010. Also take that opportunity to get user feedback, if you have not done so already.
