I am creating a new Purchase Order form (in Excel 2010) for my company. We have an Access database file (.mdb) with approximately 30K parts in it (part number, description, pricing, etc). I know I can import the data into an Excel spreadsheet, however, the purchase order Excel file becomes massive importing all that data.
I just want to enter a part number in a cell (or list) and have the corresponding information imported from the database file for each line of the purchase order. I think I may need a macro to get this done, but can someone point me in the right direction?
