sorry if this is a newbie question, but my skills in VBA are very limited.
I have an excel file with the following columns:

There about 500 lines and I need to assign equally the workload among the colleagues.
Right now I am filling manually column "owner" with the names of the people involved in the project.
First I count how many lines I have... I divide them into the colleagues (let's say 18...) and write their name in column owner one by one. Remaining cells which were left out by the division, are filled randomly using above colleague's name.
I would like to have this process automated somehow. Excel should already know the names of people involved and divide the workload equally and leaving out the very last lines which were not assigned.
Is it possible?
