Adding |Pipe| to values in cells

There is a strange fault that occurs.

Please look:
I have noticed that if I click into the cell where the function resides it does not play anymore. In one case when I want to manually adjust the range.

Let's say I have entered a working function like this:
=ConCatRange(E192:E223;"|")
Ouput is when working: cellvalue|cellvalue|cellvalue|cellvalue|cellvalue|cellvalue

Now I want to adjust.So I mark up cell and change:
=ConCatRange(E192:E223;"|") to =ConCatRange(E193:E223;"|")

The result when leaving the cell is:
=ConCatRange(E193:E223;"|")


Edit to add:
When I manually enter the function it will not work anymore. When copying from a working cell and paste as "Fx" for Formula it works, but I need to adjust range and then it will not operate as described above.

Clicking the Fx in the bar it actually states the expected values which would be correct:
