Merge cells automatically

Hi All,
I have a requirement. I have attached a sheet where i want to merge cells automatically based on a condition.
Column B is the name field and A is the Id field.
Column D shows the target achieved which contains three values Y,N,NA
Column E shows the overall achievement.
the logic to merge the cells is ,for a particular name and particular month when the target achieved is Y or NA then achievement is Y and the cells should be merged.
for a particular name and particular month, when any of target achieved is N then overall achievement is N and the cells should be merged.
Please help me to solve this issue

Re: Merge cells automatically

You should really avoid merging cells, they invariably cause problems eventually
Hope that helps.

Re: Merge cells automatically

This is possible but in VB.
Advise is you should not do this.

What you want actually in your orignal file?

Attach your file, Maybe I have some solution.
Because there are ways to manage input and output data.

AmirSoft, this thread is over 3 years old, I doubt the OP is still monitoring it
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
