crashing macro w/ range parameter?

I wrote this subroutine, called by another, which keeps crashing. I'm pretty sure it's because of ERange. The call is:

EditMode "Compliance", StatAppFlag

And StatAppFlag is a named range.

I'm still a rank VBA beginner, I guess it's been about 2 weeks now, so it might be something obvious. I've tried ERange declared as a Range, also. The error I get is run time error 424: object required.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
