Auto Drag Down Data Validation List & End Before a Particular Text is Encountered

Hi.

In column B I have a list of records.

In column E I have a data validation list drop down.

The intent is to have a user select a value from the drop down in column E, for each record in column B.

What I need is a vba that automatically drags this data validation drop down to a certain point.

This 'certain point' refers to a text in column B. For example, if column B line 34 has a text called 'TOTAL', then I need column E to only drag down to line 33 (before the 'TOTAL' text).

The number of records in column E changes, therefore it would be nice to have an extra piece of code that cleans up the data validation; i.e. no data validation list drop down for anything below or at the level of the 'TOTAL' text.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
