Control filter (drop down list with multiply selection) from a different sheet

Hello,

Just a quick question (he says..) about input for filters.

I have a sheet where the data is filtered, but I'd like the filter input to be on my dashboard (different sheet) which will show the same drop down list and allow for multiple selections.

Could you please let me know how this can be achieved?
