URGENT. Moving Pics of employees to a particular folder based on the emp. codes in xl file

Hi Guys,

I have an excel file which conatins employee codes in excel file. There is a folder in D":/Photo" which contains 700 employee photos which is named based on the employee code. For example photo jpg file is named as "1000.jpg". Need to Copy the photos of the employee based on the employee code in excel file to a new folder D:/ID card

Hi Ben,

Not sure with excel programming, but you can do it by "batch" file if is this ok for you,,

Then please collect this notepad and edit it after move which is your file name's as per excel, and save it as "move.bat" on your Photo's Folder then make a new folder with name "IDcard", then just run this bat file and all pics that is in excel goes in ur new "IDcard" folder.
