insert formula on cell dependent on location of another cell

hello all.

I am trying to input a formula in a range of column D cells in Sheet1 dependent on location of cell value in A in another sheet.
See attached file. I have list of countries in column A and a list of what sheet they are located on column B.
I want to input a formula that says "YES" or "NO" in column D if the Country is in the top half of the table on the respective sheet where it is located.
I want it to cycle through every country on the A column (this will be dynamic range) and check on the respective sheet where its located (column B) and return YES or NO in D if country is in the top half of the table.
