Do you intend this in an Excel formula rather than in Vb code?

If so, you need..in Cell N6

    =IF(J6=8,N6,"")
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!

IF would be same as it has TRUE FALSE argument

IF(J6=8, do something , else if false do something else)

if you want to check both J6 and N6 you would need a nested IF ( an IF inside your first IF) but you would need what if false and J6 not = 8 or N6 not = 16

you woud be but we need to know what if false do we do nothing does it = something
