I'm not sure how to word what it is I'm looking for, so please be patient.

I'm trying to create a weekly report that will summarize the daily reports without making the file huge. Each daily report consists of 10 worksheets, each with any number of rows. Each row contains a different document serial number. These document serial numbers are researched, commented on and addressed on a daily basis. At the end of the week a Weekly report is run with pretty much the same format and data and sent to headquarters. However, since the research has already been completed, I would like to find a way to match the document serial numbers and dates in the closed workbooks with those in the open weekly report, pulling/copying only the research comments.

I haven't any code to share since I'm totally clueless on where to start. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
