    Create a Summary of Payment

    Dear Experts,

    I need a macro to create a Summary of the payments, each individual voucher is in separate sheet. There will be approximately 1,500 vouchers or sheets every month. I need to add a seperate sheet named "Summary", if already exits delete it and create a new. I have attached the sample workbook.

    Hi,

    You are making the same mistake that I see time and time again. You are mixing up the two elements of data capture and final reporting. The two require quite different treatments.


    A lot of people start by designing the form that they expect to see as the final report, and then wonder why it's so difficult to subsequently analyse and summarise or extract information from it. Yours exhibits all those features and there's little point in having a new sheet for each record.


    You should always capture data in a simple two dimensional table and worry about reporting information from it afterwards. Without exception doing this you will always be able to easily obtain management information. Rarely is this the case if you start the other way round.
    You will also throw open the whole wonderful world of the powerful Pivot table functionality.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply, thanks for the immediate response The code works perfect, but I need to pick the amount from the same row which is against the cell value = "196100--Cash" & "196200--Bank" instead of Debit Amount Total.

    And also I need the hyperlink in column "C" which takes me to that sheet or voucher.

    Enhancements:

    1. It looks for all entries in all sheets
    2. The hyperlinks to the values were added pointing to the source sheets

    Hi

    Now the code picks all the credit entry entered in voucher, I just need cash and bank only. Could you please look in to this.
