Get values based on function

Hello
I think my request is weird somewhat >>
Suppose I have values in range("A1:A5") and sum function in A6
How can I get the values in A1:A5 (extract these values) based on the function not based on the ranges A1:A5 themselves!!
In other words how to use the function in A6 which is

to get the values in range(A1:A5) in detail
Is there a fuction or vba code that can look in the range which is in the function itself and return the values of these addresses?

I want to forget the range("A1:A5") at all
I need to concentrate on the addresses in the function itself!
Suppose I don't know the range in the function .. I want a vba code which extracts the addresses embedded into the function and based on the addresses get the values in these addresses
