Window resize doesn't trigger a line of code

Hello everybody
I have this code that I expect o unhide the formula bar when minmize the application

It's working when minimizing the workbook not the application
I tried to replace wn with application but it doesn't work

How do you know it's not working when you minimize the application? surely nothing is visible when the application is minimized??

I want it to be hidden after restoring it
It's working when minimizing the workbook and the formula bar is hidden till i do unhide to view it again

I know english is probably not your native language but your request is very confusing as your code does not match your description.

So, the application does not raise any events when resizing. Only changes in workbook windows are triggered. BUT the event does not happen if the resize is a result of the application resizing. This means if the workbook is maximized within the application and the application is resized no event happens.

this code changes the formula bar display based on window state, change false/true as required.

I really thought that it's possible to hide the formula bar if the user click on the minimize button of the application !!

Perhaps you mean maximize (fill the screen) rather than minimize (reduce to icon in start bar.

If you minimize the application you can not see the formula bar so you don't need to do anything.

Full screen mode will hide the formula bar.

For Mac Excel, there is a known bug that the Window Resize event doesn't fire.
