Isolating characters in a cell

I have cells that contains the following type of text (copied from another document):

CELL A1 = 17000 ASWC-APP10 ASWC-APP10 EA 03/13/15 0.06486 1,102.62
CELL A2 = 2000 INST-2001 INST-2001 EA 02/13/15 0.12681 253.62

(there are many more similar cells of varying lengths)

I want to isolate 17000, 03/13/15 and 1,102.62 in cell A1 and place those values in 3 separate cells (IE: 17000 - in cell B1, 03/13/15 in cell C1 and 1,102.62 in cell D1)

I have some clunky ideas but was wondering if there was a slick way to do it...

Never mind...just set it up as a tab delimited file in word, saved as text file, opened in Excel and Voila!
