    .FormulaR1C1 syntax help

I'm trying to use .FormulaR1C1 to input a COUNTIFS statement into cells in a range, but the statement has a variable year, and I am having trouble getting the syntax correct. Can anyone explain how to properly use quotes to add a variable, inside of quotes that indicate a date range? Thank you.

    Re: .FormulaR1C1 syntax help

As far as I can see you are including the variable currYear in the formula correctly.

Mind you, if you are having problems perhaps it's because you are using FormulaR1C1 but the formula is actually in A1 notation.
