Change Button language according to Language Settings

    Hello Experts

The text of my buttons (where there are some macro assigned) should change dependent on the User settings.
    Example:
I have 2 user groups. English and German
For the English users the buttons should be displayed with "Save", for the German users it should be "Speichern".

I would be great if you can give me a hint here.

    Rgds
    Thomas

Re: Change Button language according to Language Settings

    Hello Thomas,

There is no automatic translation available for user assigned text to a button. If the button is part of a system control, like a dialog box, then the text can be changed by changing the language setting for the user.

If would help to see the workbook layout.

    How To Post Your Workbook
    1. At the bottom right of the Reply window, Click the button Go Advanced
    2. At the top of the Your Message Window, in the first row of icons, Click the Paperclip icon.
    3. Click the Add Files button at the top right in the dialog box. This displays the File Manager dialog.
    4. Click the Select Files button at the bottom middle of the dialog.
    5. In the new window Find the file you want to upload, select it, and Click Open.
    6. You will now be back in the File Manager dialog. Click the bottom Middle button Upload File.
    7. Wait until the file has completely uploaded before you exit the File Manager dialog.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Hello Leith
    Thanks for your answer.
I attached here a sample of my workbook. I is only the text of the button which should be solved. In this excample: If B2 says "German", the button should be "Sichern".

    Hello Thomas,

Since this a user created button, appears to be an ActiveX, you will need a macro to change the button's caption based on B2's contents.

I would need a copy of your workbook to create a macro and test it for you.

If your workbook contains any sensitive information, please redact that information before you post.
