    Convert excel file with exe to xls again

    Hello everybody
    I have an excel file which is converted to exe by XLtoEXE converter ..
    Is there a way to convert this output to its original xls format ?

    Find the file in the folder it is in, right click the name, click rename, then change it from .EXE to .XLS and see if that works.

    I tried your suggestion but it didn't work
    The file conents appears in weird characters
