macro to open a new sheet that is titled with the current date.

I need to make a macro that opens a new sheet that is named with either the current date, or could refer to the date in a cell in the worksheet. I would also really like it if the cells in the new sheet that opens could be a template or pre formatted to a specific setup.

You can copy your pre-formatted sheet to a new sheet and then rename it with the date but the date cannot have any slashes in it:
