Create New Sheet with specific rows and columns hidden

Good evening,

I am reading through the VBA programming for dummies but doing the exercises on my 2011 Macbook Pro and have run into some issues. I tried to record a macro that would create a new sheet with that new sheet only displaying rows 1-10 and columns A-J (10x10) table. What I did is pasted below as well as what the book says I should've gotten, they do not match up. To make things more complicated, at least for me, then when i tried pasting the code from the book into VBA on my mac it wouldn't run it because there were multiple lines that were kicking back errors.

Any help would be appreciated. I am much more interested in learning why things are working and why the code between the two are different than just getting a quick solution.

Thanks for your reply. Although your code does produce the desired result, as I stated in my question, I am just as interested in understanding why the code I wrote didn't work, not just finding a code that would. I am trying to learn how to write in code so I still don't have an answer to why mine was incorrect.

I don't have any Mac so I just can tell your codes don't seem to have a connection with the subject problem !
Maybe bad keystroke or mouse action using Macro recorder …
