    Detect setting in Internet Explorer

Is it possible to detect IE settings? (I am using Microsoft Internet Controls tool reference library)

I am interested in being able to determine if the end user has "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View" enabled or not.

Re: Detect setting in Internet Explorer

If I can't read this using Microsoft Internet Controls (although that would be my preferred method if it's possible), then could I read the setting off the PC?

I'm guessing it would have to be recorded somewhere - either in the registry or in a config/ini file, no?

Does anyone have the location? (I already have code to read registry or files)
