    wb open, then save.

    Hey,

    I'm not sure how to do this.

    I have two workbooks. I have a little macro that must do the following.

    The macro is activated on workbook(1), then:
    - workbook(2) could be open. In that case workbook(2) should be saved first.
    - workbook(2) is closed and needs to be opened.

    For some reason I cannot get this done properly. Any help is appreciated

    YOu mean...

    1)Workbook A should have macro
    2) The macro should Open Workbook B
    3) Then Workbook B should be saved & Closed.
    4) Again workbook B should be opened????

    Please help with an example..
    Regards

    @Parth..

    Activated on workbook(1).
    The end result is always that workbook(2) need to be open. But if it was already open it will re-open and thus ask to save the file manually. I don't want that
