Hi,
I created an interactive summary charts that changes based on date picked by user via a calendar(macro). the summary data sheet is based on raw data pulled from a report.
As there will be a number of reports that i would like to make a summary for, I now think it's better to move all data to 1 workbook(or different workbooks) as it will be a moving file updated everyday.
Facts:
1. I want the Summary Charts to be in one separate sheet/workbook (which is the only thing users will have access to)
2. the summary charts data and the data from the report will be in a separate workbook.
How do I separate the Summary Chart to the Tables and the Tables to the Raw Data but still able to smoothly open and update them in the background with a code.
I have uploaded zip that simulates what files I have the "Summary with Charts" file will have all my macro codesGet Data from Closed Workbooks.zip
it doesnt have the data, since there was alot, it was hard to sensitize it.
just want to be able to run all macros while the other workbooks are closed.
