In what situation would Application.CalculationState NOT be xldone?

    In what situation would Application.CalculationState NOT be xldone?

    Doesn't the continuation of any sub depend on the fact that Excel has finished all necessary calculations from the previous line of the sub?

    It would not be XLDone for any situation where the workbook is not done calculating. <-Not a wisecrack
    For example, if Calculation is set to Manual and any formula cells are not updated...the CalculationState would be: xlpending

    I see...So if you have calculations on manual, and then calculate one sheet of the workbook but not others, the calculationstate would be xlpending at that point. That makes sense. Thank you
