Delay Slicer changes in pivot table outputs until manually executed.

    Hello All

I have a file utilizing a Power Pivot database.
The file has about a dozen pivot tables connected to 15 different slicers.
If I make a change to one of the slicers, it can take about 8 seconds to change all of the outputs on all of the pivot tables.

I am looking for a macro that will stop pivot tables from automatically updating when a slicer is manipulated.
This way, I'll be able to change 4 or 5 slicers without having to wait for all of the pivot tables to update each time. I would then need an "Execute" macro to update the pivot tables once all of the slicers have been set to what I want.

Any assistance, or additional info, would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

I have found that when manipulating a lot of data, VBA is the best since does not generate any background calculation sometimes unnecessarily. Yet although not 100% sure what if you turn calculation to manual?

Sorry for the late reply. Setting the calculation to manual does not stop slicers from automatically manipulating the pivot tables. That was the only thing I tested, and found it didn't work.
In reality, the time it takes for one slicer to update all the pivot tables (8-10 seconds) is manageable. just don't want to have wait after each slicer is changed.
    Any other ideas?
