Help with VBA change event macro

    Hi All.

I need to write something that does the following:

When something in column F changes, check column F and if it contains "[alt]" then put a formula in column Q. Otherwise Column Q should be whatever the user inputs into it.

    Is this possible?

Hmm. Thanks for the help but that doesn't seem to work for me. Not sure why.

Could it be conflicting with another worksheet change event?

Very possibly. They will trigger one another, and possibly create an infinite loop.

It'd be best for you to attach an example, or create one. Most code applies very loosely without predefined specifics.

I put it into a Worksheet Selection Change sub and it worked perfectly.

    Thanks!
