what i do to get back to original data ?

I have an excel problem that I hope you can help me out with...

I have a workbook with important data
some one has changed some data and saved the file
I am forget this data

what i do to get back to original data ?

is there a vba to recovery my original data ?
Any suggestions.... my experience of macros is limited

Once the new is saved, the previous is lost.

You DO of course have a backup of your Data File...restore it.

my backup is lost.
i used (track changes) without any result

perhaps is similar with Jaslake's solution, but try: goto Properties->Previous Version and there should be an older version of yr file.
