Running Excel on a remote machine?

    Hello:

I am taking over an old 2003 excel project that has multiple workbooks and TONS of VBA code. We are upgrading our machines to 2013 excel and with the 2013 version opening the workbooks up in separate windows is causing all sorts of problems running in compatibility mode and migrating it to 2013 will take too long to be worth it. The front end is Visual Studio and my question is can I use Visual Studio to call and run an 2003 instance of excel from a remote machine via the Network?

    Thanks in advance,

    Carl

Not really, you'd need to run the application on the remote machine as well and use something like terminal services.

Alternatively, why not just have 2003 and 2013 installed?
