Capture Interior Color of Conditionally Formatted Cell on Selection Change

I have a workbook with a bunch of conditional formats.

When I click on one of the ranges with conditional formatting, I want cell B2 to change to reflect the target's current color.

    This obviously doesn't work..

Where did you come up with/find DisplayFormat?

I've never seen that before and usually tell people to use the criteria of the conditional formatting for this sort of thing.

Re: Capture Interior Color of Conditionally Formatted Cell on Selection Change

I stole it from this post http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-q...ormatting.html

Strangely enough, what I took from that thread was not the solution to their problem.
They were trying to use CF to create additional CF.

I tinkered with the .DisplayFormat and found it to my liking.

Here's the cuteness I applied it to.

I believe it was introduced in 2007.
