    Pivot Macro

    Hi,

I get a raw excel sheet everyday which give details about product and its contents.I want to segregate each product and its contents in a seperate column.Content column which contains iron, zinc etc on horizontal side which remains in between quantity column and total column.Content column can be more but for sure it remains quantity and total column.

I know I can use Pivot table to create but it does not solve my purpose. I have given the kind of output I am looking for using Macro in the attached sheet. Also it contains the kind of raw data which I redeive every day.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Loving

    Re: Pivot Macro

    Hi Loving,

I've created a macro that converts your kind of Crosstab table to one that can be used in a Pivot Table. See the attached where I've copied your top rows of data to sheet2 and also to sheet3. I ran the included macro on sheet3, deleted rows with blank values and Pivoted the result on Sheet1. Hope this is what you were looking for.

    Hi,

Thanks for solving a complex things.

But the count of Material 1 (or individual product) is showing wrong. It should be 5 for MAterial 1 but it is coming 6 as per your solution.

    Thanks
