    Font.Bold Property Not Setting

I'm having an issue setting the .Font.Bold property of a range object. I've simplified the conditions and ruled out a few things, but that's only made this bug even more mysterious. Here is the very simple code:

Here's some things I've tested to confirm that everything else works. Replacing it with this line works just fine:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    And when I try this:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
It returns the correct value (FALSE). And just to be sure, this one

Please Login or Register to view this content.
returns FALSE before and AFTER the bug line.

    This one has me stumped!

When I run this on a worksheet:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
returns FALSE before and AFTER the bug line.
I get FALSE and then TRUE. The text in cell A1 is bolded as it should be. Try this on a new worksheet as yours may be corrupted.

Your absoluetly right, it works in a brand new workbook. But the same line does not work in my current project. Very strange. Oh well, I decided I'm going to go about this another way anyway. Thanks for confirming I wasn't doing something wrong at least.
