Hello Sunk,
There are basically 2 ways. The first is use linked formulas.
The second would be to use ADO. But, ADO can only retrieve data from a closed workbook and each column of data on the worksheet should be the same type, i.e. all strings, all numbers, etc.
Sincerely,
Leith Ross

First of all Thanks for the reply.
Now, when you say Linked Formulas, by that you mean it is "=" followed by selecting the cell stuff right? Or something else?
Also, Can we use Data connection wizard in any way?
Now my exact situation is this -
I have File1.xls and File2.xls. Both files are appended daily such the rows appendd in File2.xls are taken up from the rows appended in File1.xls. How can I automate this? That is the new rows are dynamically getting added. How can this be done? You got the question right ?
