    link active x checkboxes

    logsheet example.xls
I have a sheet with over 200 check boxes on and I need to link link checkbox 1-100 with 101-200 so
checkbox 1 linked to 101 and 2 with 102 and so on and I know this can be done with linking them to a cell but this isn't a reliable option seeing my check boxes don't move or re-size with cells and I delete rows often and every time a row is deleted the link is no longer reliable until I re-link it,
so I'm thinking I need a code that will link the 2 so that when 1 of the 2 are checked they both are checked and the same for unchecking
unless there is a more easy way to link them with out using a cell
in the example I haven't placed boxes 101-200 yet but they will be located before in row A and every thing you see will be shifted 1 column to the right

    Matt,

I don't know that you can link the checkboxes in this way. You could put code for EVERY checkbox in such a way that checking one triggers checking the other, but you'd have to do this manually insofar as I know. Why not link 1 and 101 (and so on) to the same cell on some hidden sheet that won't be used for anything else?

    Re: link active x checkboxes

for some reason I thought that I couldn't do this with 2003 but after playing around with it I realized I can actually do that. i think i didnt try it because i was trying to link a conditional format to another sheet and i know that cant be done easly.
man talk about making me feel dumb just think outside the box right.

Haha, yeah it often helps to just have input from someone else, just to get a new perspective. Good luck
