Add number sequence automatically

Hi,

I've been working on a list of documents,by which I'll add new document number sequence according to document category each time a new document is registered. I used to add document sequence manually by dragging the cell down, but I now want to add it automatically using vba,by which whenever a user choose a document category, a cells will generate a number sequence following the sequence on the other sheets.

How to write a vba command to make this things happen?

Attached my list of documents to give a better picture of this problem.

Now I'm managing to add a new row for each new sequence number is added. As your given code, it seem to add the new number on empty row.
How to add/insert a new row in the middle of the table according to document category?
