Unable to enter text in unlocked cells after selecting a value from a combox box

Guys,

My entire sheet is protected except for few certain cells which I want the user to enter. One of the cell needs to be a combo box which will contain
a list of Months. On click of a button, I am able to load the combo box with the months.

Problem
If I select a month from the combo box and then try entering value in the other cells - excel does not accepts the keystrokes.
But if I don't select a value from the combox box and try to enter values in the cells - it just works fine.

I am on a deadline, appreciate any help to fix this.

I have attached the file I am working on, refer to the code for but 'ADD TOWN INFORMATION' (first button on the top left)

Works fine for me.
Can't replicate your problem. I select a month and fill the other cells fine.

I am suprised to hear that. Let me try it on my other laptop and other version of Excel.

It did work on the other laptop. Strange though..
