Getting wrong date format in mail merge word letter

Hi friends,
I have created a mail merge successfully but I’m getting a problem of date format in created word letter. The date format in excel is dd mm yyyy but in word letter after mail merge it changes to mm dd yyyy. I want it as dd mm yyyy only as in excel.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

If the date is in devanagari font in excel workbook then I want it as devanagari font in word letter which is now changing to English font.
