Ignore blank cell if cell is in a merged cell group

I realized unmerging each cell is a hassle when you have thousands of columns in a workbook.

So i just want to delete every blank row but the problem is when i have a merged cell ranging "G:J", it still reads "I" as empty and it deletes the entire row. How can i exclude merged cells?

Im using this code to delete rows based on column I
